Dreamcatcher se forme en 2001 et s’impose rapidement sur la sc\u00e8ne metal fran\u00e7aise gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un m\u00e9lange distinctif de heavy et thrash, inspir\u00e9 par des groupes embl\u00e9matiques tels qu’Iron Maiden et Megadeth. En 2006, le groupe sort son premier EP 4 titres, marquant ainsi le d\u00e9but de son parcours musical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Albums et reconnaissance (2012-2021)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es de concerts et de d\u00e9veloppement de son identit\u00e9 sonore, Dreamcatcher d\u00e9voile son premier album, Emerging From The Shadows<\/em>, en 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La reconnaissance du public et de la critique ne se fait pas attendre, et en 2017, le groupe sort son deuxi\u00e8me album, Blood On The Snow<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2021, \u00e0 l’occasion de son 20e anniversaire, il lance The Road So Far<\/em>, qui remporte le France Metal Awards, se classant premier dans la cat\u00e9gorie Metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2025, Dreamcatcher publie son quatri\u00e8me album, Bleeding Heart<\/em>, qui regroupe tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments caract\u00e9ristiques de son univers : culture am\u00e9rindienne, imaginaire fantastique, th\u00e9matiques \u00e9cologiques, ambiances sombres et refrains accrocheurs. Le groupe continue d\u2019\u00e9voluer tout en restant fid\u00e8le \u00e0 ses racines.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dreamcatcher a choisi de collaborer avec des artistes talentueux qui enrichissent son univers sonore et visuel. Chlo\u00e9 Bazaud est responsable de l’image du groupe, cr\u00e9ant des visuels captivants qui refl\u00e8tent son esth\u00e9tique et son identit\u00e9.

Pour le son, Axel Wursthorn est un partenaire cl\u00e9, ayant mix\u00e9 plusieurs albums du groupe, dont Bleeding Heart<\/em>. Il sait comment doit sonner la musique de Dreamcatcher et en restituer l’\u00e9nergie live.

Le groupe a \u00e9galement eu le plaisir de collaborer avec Ombeline Duprat, la chanteuse d\u2019Asylum Pyre, et Brice Druhet, le guitariste d\u2019Orkhys, sur Bleeding Heart<\/em>. Ces collaborations ajoutent une profondeur et une richesse \u00e0 sa musique, tout en renfor\u00e7ant les liens au sein de la sc\u00e8ne metal fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Early Years (2001-2006)<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Dreamcatcher was formed in 2001 and quickly gained recognition on the French metal scene thanks to its distinctive blend of heavy and thrash, inspired by iconic bands such as Iron Maiden and Megadeth. In 2006, the band released its first 4-track EP, marking the beginning of its musical journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Albums and Recognition (2012-2021)<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After several years of concerts and developing its sound, Dreamcatcher unveiled its first album, Emerging From The Shadows<\/em>, in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Native American culture, gothic horror themes, ecological concerns, haunting atmospheres, and catchy choruses. The band continues to evolve while remaining true to its roots.<\/p>\n\n\n
